And nope, I don't need you to send any smses, nor like any facebook pages in order for me to 'win' coz - in the case of this beautiful award - nominate means "win" already! Double yay!!! Three things I love about motherhood
- The kidzes. They're the best, absolutely the best. My Isaac, my Asher and my Shawna. They're all different and unique in their own ways. They make me laugh all the time, they make me angry sometimes, and I often scratch my head thinking of how to answer their many questions and queries but I love them all to bits (that's what happens when I bite their backsides one too many times).
- Motherhood brought out the best in me. Yes, I really think so. Being a mother has started me on this fabulous yet trying journey of bringing up children. I have done things I never really thought I could (er, like tandem breastfeeding and producing more than enough milk for 3 kids?!) and I have no doubt being a mother will continue to spur me on to more superhuman feats.
- Motherhood has brought me closer to other mothers. It's true. Motherhood to mothers is like National Service to men. It's an experience which brings us closer to one another, and there's always loads to talk about. More importantly, motherhood has brought me closer to my own mother, and my sister - both of whom I was never really close to growing up. Now that my sister and I are both mothers, we are closer, and also to my own mum as well. PRICELESS!
