Where do I start?

It's so funny. Now that I've started a blog - I feel like it should already be filled with stuff. For, if there is nothing here, it'd be very boring for my readers, wouldn't it. Then they would lose interest in my blog, and they wouldn't wanna come read it again! sob sob. hahahaha...

so where do I start? I suppose since this blog has been started primarily coz Isaac is due anytime now that we're on our 38th Week this week... so perhaps, I should start... at like... before we realised we were pregnant? Now, it seems like such a long time ago... but I still remember...

We were trying pretty hard to get pregnant. Coz we both love kids you see, so we've been trying trying trying... till we're almost married for one and a half years - still no sign of preggie-tummy (fattie tummy have lah... preggie tummy no have...) It got pretty amusing-exasperating when both my mum and mum-in-law (MIL) started being a little more obvious in "hinting" about it... they went about it differently of course... my MIL started telling us (and repeating) about relatives and neighbours who just got married and were pregnant already... whilst my mum started shoving newspapers and magazines at us saying obscurely generic things like:"this edition very good - should read" - then when we flip inside, we'd inevitably find some article on subjects such as 'how to prepare your body for pregnancy', ' natural aphrodisiacs', 'tips to conceive quickly' and even 'erectile dysfunction' and the like... it was quite hilarious really...

So when we found out we were pregnant, we were ecstatic! hehehe... even took a picture of the pregnancy test kit with the + sign, and the cup of urine to boot. kekeke... I remember the day quite well... it was the day after Yiwei & Rosine's wedding (where we'd learnt the good news that Baoling and Leslie are pregnant too!), and it was the day before we were to fly off to Cambodia for a short trip...

Then it occured to us that we couldn't have chosen a more "wrong time" to go to Ang Kor Wat - where lotsa walking and climbing is required - coz now, I was pregnant (and shouldn't be climbing structures of any sort, and, if you guys recall, my dear hubby hubbs hubbs had just injured his knee while playing soccer, and was at that time, on crutches. So there we were, one pai kah ah pek, and a pregnant lady, going to Ang Kor Wat on a free and easy tour... hahaha... so we took it free and easy lor... took tuk tuk to see the temples (instead of cycling there as Ew would have preferred), slowly walk... relax in cafes... no rushing here and there... savouring in the sweet knowledge that we were FINALLY pregnant! hurray!!!
